Ed’s isn’t the only place that has scoops! With the season heating up in earnest, it’s time to make some summer plans. Word on the street is there’s so much to do in the Streetcar community this season. Here’s a round-up of happenings you don’t want to miss out on:

Neighbourhood Nights at the Broadview Hotel 

Our friends at The Broadview Hotel are serving up daily drink specials, starting with $7 whites, reds, and rosés, plus a rotating list of speciality cocktails. Now there’s a price you can cheers to! Keep your cool in our Café + Bar or soak in the sun on our rooftop patio, which was just named by Condé Nast Traveller as one of the best rooftop bars in Toronto. See you there, neighbours!

Wanderer by Sara Pearson

Take a journey into the wandering mind of abstract artist Sara Pearson. Our local art partner Project Gallery will be showing her works of remembered landscapes from past travels from July 5th thru 28th. Her show, entitled “Wanderer,” explores themes of transformation and healing from a feminine perspective with a focus on the spiritual connection between woman and nature. Quinnions The Comedy Show at Streetcar Crowsnest

Come one and all for a hilarious night of stand-up comedy in Leslieville. Quinn C. Martin (Just for Laughs, CBC, host of Toronto’s Talent on XM and Sirius) headlines this fun evening with guests Miles Verweel and Daniel Sanker  Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
