Monthly Media Roundup: May Edition

Is May finished already? It seems just yesterday we were preparing for the first Flower Market of the season, and suddenly the month has breezed by. Our media roundup this month centres around two major events that happened in May: the first Toronto Flower Market of the season and the grand opening of The Southwood Phase 2.

Both Inside Toronto and Post City covered the Toronto Flower Market’s move from west to east, citing Streetcar’s partnership. We’re thrilled to be a part of this budding community initiative, and we can’t wait for the next flower market on June 13. For more information, follow the link.

From stems to style, the Flower Market received attention for more than just its flowers: Fashion Magazine captured the street style on the scene in this colourful photo essay.

Our latest project, The Southward, also received lots of attention this month. This article by BuzzBuzz home celebrates the success of Phase 1, which was 90% sold out in just eight short weeks. “The Southwood offers suites that aren’t typically seen in today’s condominium projects” writes BuzzBuzz home, noting our larger two and three bedroom lofts that range from 1,218 – 1,680 square feet. “These floorplans provide the extra space that many young families or downsizers are looking for.”

May also marked the grand opening of The Southward Phase 2, The Ravine Collection. The opening was a huge success, and garnered this article, again from BuzzBuzz home: “The Southwood is being praised as one of the most sought-after new developments in the city” they write, citing the project’s cutting-edge architecture, premium finishes and well-connected location in the Upper Beaches.

Stay tuned for what promises to be an exciting June.
