Monthly Media Roundup: November Edition

November was a great month for Streetcar: Once again, Now Magazine named us one of Toronto’s best condo developers in its annual Reader’s Choice Awards. As the 2015 Reader’s Choice Runner’s Up, we’re thrilled to be recognized by Torontonians for yet another year.

Urban Toronto ran an article called “Articulated Exterior Coming Together at Streetcar’s The Taylor” citing great anticipation over the Öko Skin (the waterproof composite concrete) that we’re using to replicate natural elements like stone and wood on this project on Dundas Street East: “The warm tones and textures of Öko Skin, ironspot slate-gray bricks, and stone, will create a modern dialogue with the more traditional red brick architectural language of the adjacent low-rise neighbourhood,” Urban Toronto writes.

The article also mentions Crow’s Theatre, which will be located at the base of our neighbouring Carlaw building. It’s “set to become Toronto’s largest performing arts space east of the Don Valley Parkway,” Urban Toronto says.

Finally, an article we forgot to mention in last month’s write-up was BlogTO’s write-up of one of the units in our Beach House Lofts as the Condo of the Month. Located at 1842 Queen St. East, this award-winning property features unique lofts, including the one mentioned here. A highlight includes the 800 sq. ft multi-tiered deck, which has an outdoor hot tub BlogTO calls, “your own private outdoor oasis.”

Thanks for all the support Toronto, and thanks again for voting us as one of the city’s best condo developers. What excited you in November? Tweet us at @StreetcarLofts, or connect with us on on Facebook.
