Monthly Media Round-up: July Edition

Faster than you could say “soft serve ice cream,” July flew by. As we wrap up what was the hottest month so far this year, we look back at what made headlines in July.

Urban Toronto posted this progress report on the Broadview Hotel, noting the window installments and our efforts to restore the stone detailing which fronts onto Queen Street East. Contributor Michael Uttley writes that “the pace of work on the building’s north elevation has been steady and the first storey has nearly been completed.” He also hints at some of the big plans for this exciting project, suggesting “when complete, the project will include 58 rooms, a rooftop bar, and a ground-floor restaurant.”

Just this week, Now Toronto released its Readers’ Choice Award Nominees. We’re so thrilled Streetcar has been nominated as Best Condo Developer under the Shopping and Services category (You like us! You really do!). In 2015,we were a runner-up, but this year we’d love to take home this much-coveted title. Show your support by voting for us.
